Song Management Groups board of directors have entered in to negotiations with several candidates for a position on the board to oversee European policy and regulation. The successful candidate will be an independent non executive director.
Each candidate has a wealth of European policy making experience and will bring a breadth and depth of policymaking and regulatory experience once appointed. Song Management Groups plans for European expansion will need knowledge and expertise that will help further strengthen Song Management Groups position as one of Greater China's fastest growing advisory companies.
The appointment will be for an initial three-year term which, subject to re-election at the 2011 Annual General Meeting, will expire at the conclusion of the 2014 Annual General Meeting. The Directors have determined that the successful candidate will be independent. In making that determination the Directors concluded that there are no relationships or circumstances which are likely to affect judgment and any relationships or circumstances which could appear to do so are considered not to be material.
As non-executive the position does not have a service contract with Song Management Group. He or She will be paid a Director's fee of £65,000 per annum plus bonuses as authorised by directors at the 2006 Annual General Meeting.
