A number of State courts now require case documents filed after January 1, 2012 to be submitted in PDF/A-format. Additionally, the Administrative office of the US Courts has recently announced that they too will be moving to PDF/A as their standard submission format.
Importantly, Altep’s standard electronic data discovery offering already outputs processed ESI in PDF/A format. Moreover, Altep’s custom-developed document review platform, Inspicio®, converts native files to PDF/A.
