Compass Scholarship Foundation sponsors 22 employees for a 12 month long professional hospitality programme at the end of which each participant is to receive an Executive Diploma in Hospitality Management from Sunway International Business & Management, a leading Malaysian training centre.
Bangkok, Thailand, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- As part of staff career development initiatives, Compass Scholarship Foundation is sponsoring 22 employees for a professional hospitality programme leading to an Executive Diploma in Hospitality Management.
The educational and training programme will be conducted in Kuala Lumpur by Sunway International Business & Management, a leading professional and executive training centre in Malaysia.
Participants include senior executives and staff from Compass-managed properties located in Thailand and Malaysia as well as corporate staff from Compass Hospitality Corporate Office in Bangkok. Participants were selected for their good work performance and positive working attitudes. It is the desire of Compass Scholarship Foundation that the programme will sharpen the participants’ knowledge and practical application of the best practices and latest trends in hospitality management.
The one-year course will cover all key aspects of hospitality management and operations. Course modules include sales & marketing, MICE & tourism, rooms, food & beverage, banquets, human resources, guest relations, financial management, general management and hospitality market trends. The course will end with the participants preparing and presenting a written thesis.
