New JeanRichard Watches Hit the Online Shelves of www.TheWatchery.com
The Watchery adds a collection of JeanRichard timepieces to an already impressive selection of designer watches.
New York, NY, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- JeanRichard has arrived at The Watchery. A favorite brand among watch enthusiasts, JeanRichard watches embody the classic elegance The Watchery has worked to regularly provide its customers, with other designer brands like Chopard, Ebel, and Cartier. The Watchery, forever a proponent of providing high-quality products at low prices, has welcomed with open arms its new stock of JeanRichard watches.
"There’s no denying JeanRichard watches have a timeless quality to them - no pun intended. We already stock and discount some of the most beautiful watches on the market, and we’re absolutely thrilled we’ll be able to offer such significant savings on yet another batch of exceptional watches. We’ve already noticed a high demand for them, and plan to do everything we can to meet that demand," said Joseph Levy, President of The Watchery.
The legend of Daniel JeanRichard, passed down through the years, has been subject to the same narrative transformations all legends are. The general consensus, though, is that in the late 17th century, an Englishman passing through Bressels left his watch with a 16-year-old JeanRichard, who took the watch apart to study and diagram the pieces. Using his new knowledge, he designed and forged a watch - the seed of what would later be conceived by Luigi Macaluso, owner of Swiss watch-manufacturer Girard-Perreguax, as the JeanRichard brand, one of distinguished luxury and sophistication.
JeanRichard further employed his expertise to challenge the area’s watchmakers’ guilds, whose exclusivity made it hard for outsiders to learn the trade or even procure the necessary tools. Sharing his knowledge with others, JeanRichard worked to make the watchmaking process more efficient and affordable.
"I was fascinated by the fact that Daniel JeanRichard lived at the beginning of the Swiss watchmaking industry," said Macaluso in an interview for WatchTime.com. "He is important. He is part of the roots of the watchmaking industry."
Discounts on JeanRichard watches at The Watchery range from 64% to 75%. The TV Screen XL Automatic, for example, retails at $8,950 - at The Watchery, it’s available for $2,650. With a brown leather strap and encased by stainless steel, the cream-colored face features gold hands and digits and a 31-day retrograde calendar.
"Our goal, as ever, is to offer the highest quality watches we can, at more consumer-friendly prices. We’re well-aware that not everyone can afford to pay thousands of dollars for a designer watch, so we lower the prices of these watches to something that works for everyone," said Levy.
