Germantown, MD, April 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The New English poetry book penned by Syed Imon Rizvi has been launched at www.amazon.com for a worldwide release sale.

33-year-old Syed Imon Rizvi is a poet who started his voyage of poetry in 2005 and since then he became very serious in his endeavors. He thinks and feels that by writing poetry he can express his inner feelings as well as can present it to the whole world. According to him, it has become very difficult to say the truth anymore due to confrontations by oppressors and aggressors. So his weapon is his dear pen, which is quite useful in helping him in realizing the sufferings of others and explaining them in his own words for the whole world to see.

"People want to raise their voice against aggression," says Mr. Rizvi, "but when they see that conditions are not favoring them, they stop their agitation having fears in their hearts. So many unethical practices are being carried on these days and yet no one is able to do anything, even in a time which is called freedom era, so eventually I decided to write poetry and use the power of pen to raise my voice."

It was merely an accident when he confronted a situation where he was the afflicted one and no one at his work place understood his point of view. So he decided to write a poem in which he took out his pains of the heart on a piece of paper and gave it the manager, who, was amazed to read it and then she put that poem on the notice board. All employees of the company read it and felt that what was going on and the intended message was finally delivered. He considered that event as his success and later on continued it through even more writing.

Syed Imon Rizvi is from Karachi, Pakistan but his experience in the US provided him the broader vision of looking at things in life. Because there, he had so many opportunities to experience the human diversity first hand, because of the melting pot effect. He has put his thoughts and views in his poems and conveyed to us the important messages in a very contemporary social, ethical and political setting.
