Kryton Invests in Middle East with New Warehouse
Kryton International Inc. has opened a warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone to provide concrete waterproofing products to the Gulf Cooperation Council, Middle East and Africa.
Vancouver, Canada, April 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kryton International Inc. has opened a fully stocked warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone (JAFZA) to provide service to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Middle East and Africa. The new warehouse reduces lead and shipping times from eight weeks to one week and supports Kryton’s global strategy of servicing all of its markets with the shortest lead times possible.
The JAFZA is one of the world’s fastest growing free economic zones and is located near Abu Dhabi in Dubai. It is home to more than 6,400 companies and is a leading economic hub for the Middle East. Kryton made the move to invest in a warehouse in the area because it expects the region and GCC in particular to be one of the major drivers of company growth this year.
“We have experienced significant market development in the Middle East over the last five years and are confident that trend will continue throughout 2011 and beyond,” says Kari Yuers, CEO of Kryton International Inc. “Our investment in the region demonstrates our belief in its potential and is an important step forward in continuing to provide high quality and efficient service to our customers.”
According to a recently released report by Samba Financial Group, the GCC is expected to experience strong economic growth in 2011. The company is predicting GDP growth to accelerate to six per cent from just under five per cent in 2010. It attributes the region’s financial performance to continued infrastructure spending and higher oil prices.
Kryton’s new warehouse will carry the entire Kryton product line. The warehouse will also stock water soluble bags of Kryton’s flagship product, Krystol Internal Membrane. These bags reduce jobsite waste by eliminating product pails and will assist in enhancing green building construction practices in the regions served by the warehouse.
The process of ordering products from Kryton will remain the same for customers. Local distributors place orders on behalf of customers directly with Kryton’s customer service department. Kryton’s distributors in the GCC and Middle East can be reached through the company’s regional manager, Fadi Farhat, while distributors in Africa can be reached through Kryton’s Africa territory manager, Gary Penk. All distributors are also listed on Kryton’s website.
Kryton International Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of premium products for waterproofing, repairing and protecting concrete structures. For over 38 years, Kryton’s proprietary integral crystalline technology has helped solve the most difficult concrete waterproofing challenges around the world. An extensive distribution network provides dedicated support that includes third party application training, ready-mix quality control programs, and the waterproofing industry’s leading warranty.
