Tracy Browne, Angela Floyd Named Corporate Vice Presidents at Balfour Beatty Construction
Dallas, TX, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Balfour Beatty Construction has appointed Tracy Browne as corporate vice president of sustainability and Angela Floyd as corporate vice president of business improvement.
In her new role, Browne will leverage her past direction of the company's national sustainability task team to include the ongoing and evolving implementation of Balfour Beatty’s global Sustainability Roadmap, providing leadership in all issues relating to sustainability.
Browne joined Balfour Beatty Construction in 2005 and has 25 years experience in the construction industry. Previously, she served as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Director for the company’s Florida division, where she supervised business development and operations for IPD, renewable energy sector, and Public-Private Partnership work. Browne holds a B.S. in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.
As corporate vice president of business improvement, Floyd will be charged with delivering key strategic initiatives for the company, including evaluation and institution of Business Intelligence and evolving instruments for best practices and knowledge sharing across the national organization.
Floyd joined Balfour Beatty Construction in 2004 as director of Performance Awareness, where she has played a leadership role in important company-wide initiatives such as the implementation of a balanced scorecard, compliance with cost accounting standards for large Federal projects and most recently, the redesign of the corporate/shared services/functional business model to increase company efficiency and effectiveness. Floyd has 22 years of experience as a registered Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
