World Team Poker’s Championship Event at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa Postponed

Los Angeles, CA, April 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- World Team Poker has announced that its Championship Event, scheduled for May 24, 25 and 26, 2011 at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa will be rescheduled for later this summer.

“The recent developments in online poker has had a rippling effect throughout the poker industry,” said Michael A. Christian, CEO of World Team Poker.

“World Team Poker has decided that it is in the players and World Team Poker’s best interest to postpone the event until the end of the summer. This should allow the current situation with online poker to settle down and resolve itself.”

World Team Poker officials will release the rescheduled event dates via press release.
