Sans Digital Announces an Exclusive Distribution Agreement of Synology’s New Generation of Network Attached Storage Servers in America
Santa Fe Springs, CA, March 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Sans Digital, a leading provider of high performance storage subsystems has reached an exclusive distribution agreement with Synology to distribute Disk Station series, a new generation of network attached storage servers (NAS) to the North American market. Sans Digital will also distribute other Synology’s NAS products including the newly released 7 series; Disk Station, DS-107, DS-107e and DS-207; Cube Station, CS-407, and Rack Station, RS-407. These new products will be incorporated into Sans Digital’s existing NAS solution product line.
This relationship will expand Sans Digital’s industry leading position in supplying high quality storage products by incorporating Synology’s complete lines of NAS servers. In 2006 Toms Networking (now Small Net Builder, www.smallnetbuilder.com) studied the Synology Disk Station and Cube Station, and ranked them among the leaders of NAS products in today’s market.
Synology’s NAS Servers not only allow users to share their digital content over a network, but also provide enterprise server-like service, such as Windows Active Directory support and built-in RAID protection over failed disks. They can also be used as a USB printer server, a dynamic web server (with built-in PHP+MySQL support), a FTP server, a backup server and an unattended download server. Completely re-designed as a newly released 7 series, Disk Station, Cube Station and Rack Station are ready to support tera-byte hard drives in 1-bay, 2-bay and 4-bay form factors.
