Screenwriter Patricia Fox Launches Website

Screenwriter Patricia Fox has launched a web site in order to keep interested parties informed about her writing projects and make inquires and requests about her body of work.

Minneapolis, MN, April 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Patricia studied English and Ceative Writing at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She minored in American Indian studies and concentrated on film history, film criticism and screenwriting.

She's had the opportunity to take classes with Robert McKee, Michael Hauge and Tom Pope.

She was won or placed highly in a number of screenwriting contests including: Page International, Austin Film Festival, IFP-MN, Champion Screenwriting, and the Santa Fe Writer's Place. Her screenwriting endeavors began in 2000 and in that same year she was a Selected Artist for Screenwriting at the Telluride Independent Film Festival for her first screenplay. In 2004 she was a Finalist for the IFP-MN McKnight Screenwriting Grant. This award is the largest of its kind in the Upper Midwest. She has been a Finalist for this same grant in 2009 and 2010.

In 2010 she won the Divebomber Radio Play screenwriting contest. Her screenplay, Anatomy of a Town, was turned into a radio play and broadcast in March 2011 on KCBX Public Radio in California. An archive of this show can be found online at http://www.kcbx.org/Pages/Programming/archives.html
