Teich Garden Systems to Participate in Longview, "From the Ground Up" Event

Westchester, NY, April 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Teich Garden Systems LLC announced today that Jamie Friedman, President of TGS, will be participating in “Longview, From the Ground Up, Part II” starting at 8:30 a.m. on April 27th at Longview High School in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The featured speaker at the event is Will Allen. Mr. Allen was named to Time Magazine’s 2010 100 Most Influential People in the World list and has become recognized as among the preeminent thinkers of our time on agriculture and food policy. The founder and CEO of Growing Power Inc., a farm and community food center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mr. Allen is widely considered an authority in the expanding field of urban agriculture.

Mr. Friedman stated, “We are thrilled to have been invited to participate in this event. We are very proud of the garden we built at Longview High School and look forward to visiting the school again to work with the students to plant the Spring crop and being able to meet and talk about our gardens with people in the community who have an interest in school and community gardens.”
