Joey Giovinazzo, owner of Joey's Casa Italiana is proud to present the movie "The Wrecking Crew" during three showings: Denny Tedesco, the son of Tommy Tedesco, a member of the Wrecking Crew has had his father's wish come true and is releasing a movie, the true story of the real musicians behind the scenes. As stated by Peter Frampton, "It was incredible! I felt just like I was sitting there with them at that table. It had everything I wanted to see and more that I didn't expect."
This is an exclusive not yet released movie to the public. It's a story about a group of musicians in the 60’s who broke all the rules of music and impacted the music world forever. The musicians of "The Wrecking Crew" created the Soundtrack behind the dating years of over 38 million American Baby-Boomers.
Thus calling them The Wrecking Crew. As Denny Tedesco, the movie director and son of Tommy Tedesco (original member of the Wrecking Crew), describes it they were "a group of studio musicians in Los Angeles in the 60's who played on hits for the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, Sonny and Cher, Jan and Dean, The Monkees, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Mamas and Papas, Tijuana Brass, Ricky Nelson, Johnny Rivers and were Phil Spector's Wall of Sound." Tedesco says, the musicians were "recording around the clock for a good 8 years."
As part of a fundraiser to help promote the release of the movie a pre-release screening will be presented at Joey's Casa Italiana in Hewitt, NJ and will be shown on three separate dates, April 29, 30 and May 1 featuring dinner, movie and a live show. The live show will feature the full length songs from the movie played by some of the musicians who wrote and recorded these songs. Some of the featured guest appearances along with Tommy Tedesco will include Ray Monte (the legendary Lou Monte's son) with Don Randi (original member of the Wrecking Crew). Also present will be Bobbi Valli (brother of Franki Valli) with Don Randi (pianist for Nancy Sinatra) as well as T.V. personality Uncle Floyd.
The dinner features a complete selection of salads, hot and cold appetizers, seafood, veal, chicken, pasta, vegetarian dishes, and many other choices. It also includes coffee and dessert of your choice.
The price of the ticket for the dining room is $49.95.
The price of the ticket at the bar (complete with four 62" flat screen TVs) is $25.00. Both include the dinner, movie, and the show.
