Maestro Wireless and Embedded Works Announce North American Distribution Agreement
Addition of Maestro Wireless Cellular Modems provides Embedded Works’ customers with access to complementary embedded solutions and quick integration of M2M communications.
San Francisco, CA, April 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Maestro Wireless Solutions, a leading global supplier of M2M gateways and wireless industrial modems for the M2M (Machine-to-Machine) market, announced today it has appointed Embedded Works as a stocking distributor in North America for its full line of wireless products. Embedded Works will carry Maestro Wireless’ extensive selection of ready-to-integrate cellular gateways, wireless modems and tracking devices, including Maestro’s unique SmartPack and Softool embedded software. These standard embedded applications are the key to simplifying the user’s experience in integrating and managing M2M communication devices with their field equipment.
“Maestro’s line of pluggable cellular and GPS devices brings true application flexibility to any wireless project,” says Andy Do, President of Embedded Works. “Companies looking to add cellular for the first time, or want a stepping stone before they invest in the design-heavy embedded modular approach would benefit from starting with Maestro’s modems. Bundling Maestro products with our m2m data plans and billing portal, customers can have a true-out-of-box experience and a choice in which carriers, coverage, and contract plans that suites their needs. Hence, we are delighted to enhance our m2m portfolio through a partnership with Maestro Wireless.”
“We are very pleased to have signed Embedded Works as a distribution partner. Their industry expertise and focus in the M2M marketplace make them a natural fit for offering our quick-to-market and proven solutions,” said Olivier Bernard, Maestro Wireless’ Vice-President of Business Development. “Their complete M2M solution offering, including design services, engineering support and multiple connectivity plans combined with the ease of use and flexibility of our wireless offering, will allow customers to migrate their products and applications towards complete wireless solutions with minimal investment or technical expertise.”
