Meet the Man Behind the World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show

Atlanta, GA, April 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bob Johnson will be speaking at the Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional (ANHC Pro) May 2011 business breakfast. Bob Johnson is the co-founder of the country’s largest and longest running natural hair expo, Bob will be speaking about how to brand and build a small business within the natural hair care industry.

Bob Johnson will be the guest speaker for the May ANHC Pro business breakfast. The breakfast is being held on May 16, 2011 from 10am to 12pm at Juiceez & Etc. ANHC Pro hosts a monthly business breakfast for salons, stylists, barbers, and students who specialize in or are interested in natural hair care. The breakfast serves as a place for professionals to meet and learn about ideas, products, services, issues, and events that are relevant to the natural hair care industry. The breakfast is free for ANHC Pro members and $15.00 for the general public. It includes of a 45 minute presentation from a guest speaker and 30 minutes of open discussion. At the breakfast attendees are also introduced to other products and services that are designed to help with the day to day operation and growth of their careers and businesses.

Bob Johnson, has published two books (Braid Styles in 1993 and Hairitage in 1995). In 1995, he and his partner founded the World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show. The show is now largest and longest running natural hair care expo in the United States. Bob Johnson is the long standing owner and operator of The Natural Hair Holistic Health Center. In the early 90's, Bob initiated changing the name of his shop from Braids Weaves and Things to the Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care Center. It became one of the first natural hair care centers in the country. At the Natural Hair Care Center, braids became not just a good summer style option, but a way to transition from relaxers and maintain natural hair. At that time, the Natural Hair Care Center began providing its clients with consultations, support, and a system for transitioning to natural hair. “We are honored to have Bob Johnson speak with our group.
