Scottish Poet, Colin Galbraith, Embraces Kindle with Both Hands
Scottish author and poet, Colin Galbraith, has released his entire back catalogue of published books, for purchase on the Kindle at drastically reduced prices.
Edinburgh, United Kingdom, May 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Scottish author and poet, Colin Galbraith, has released his entire back catalogue of published books, for purchase on the Kindle at drastically reduced prices.
The assembled works, which includes three chapbooks of poetry and one novella, are now available on Amazon's US & Canadian, UK and German websites for the digital ebook platform, Kindle.
Speaking this week, Galbraith illustrated why it was important for him to offer these books so readily:
"It’s always been important for me to make my books available wherever possible,” said Galbraith. “Not only does it make good commercial sense, it’s important to try and introduce as many new readers to my work as I can.
“The Kindle is a great way of achieving this, and I see it more as an extra avenue for publishing my work, as opposed to a possible replacement.
“Each of my books now on Kindle represents an important milestone in my writing career. 'Stella', my first fiction paperback in the paranormal genre, was first conceived over 20 years ago and the characters are very close to me now.
“'Fringe Fantastic' was inspired by the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh—the city I still live in and am inspired by daily—so to have it out there and available to all these new readers for less money than the price of a local bus fare, means a heck of a lot to me.”
Colin’s other chapbooks, 'Poolside Poetry' and 'Silly Poems for Wee People Vol.2', are also all available in the new format. The ebooks are available at the following low prices:
Stella: £3.21
Fringe Fantastic: £1.14
Poolside Poetry: £1.14
Silly Poems for Wee People Vol. 2: £1.14
