Mama Bracelets Supports The American SIDS Institute and Begins Working with Another Organization to Raise Funds

MB wraps up its sales of The SIDS Awareness “HALO” Bracelet in support of The American SIDS Institute. It now turns its attention to another organization offering its help and support.

Naperville, IL, April 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Promptly at 9:00pm CST on April 25, 2011 Mama Bracelets retired “The SIDS Awareness HALO Bracelet” it designed to help support “Team M” and the American SIDS Institute’s Spring-for-SIDS Event which takes place on April 29, 2011.

“We felt that we touch the lives of thousands of people out there simply by posting information on our blog (http://mamabracelets.blogspot.com) as well as using our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mamabracelets) in conjunction with advertising the sale of the 'HALO' Bracelet. Whether people bought a bracelet or not we feel that our efforts made a difference,” states PR Director, Michael Casten.

Mama Bracelets enjoyed over 4,000 visitors to their blog in 5 short days. Each day they would post a new article or information about SIDS starting with general information, moving to the research aspect, and continuing on to post about how friends and relatives can lend a helping hand to those who suffer from a loss due to SIDS. The final post was geared towards ways to help the siblings of children lost to SIDS. Finally, Mama Bracelets hosted a “quiz” about what had been learned over the course of the week, offering a $10.00 gift certificate to a lucky random participant.

“We received many compliments on how well we structured the learning process for our readers. Many people who ended up purchasing a 'HALO Bracelet' felt that their purchase carried a lot of meaning; and that’s what we’re aiming for…bringing meaning to people’s lives through our beautiful products,” explains Casten.

On April 25, 2011 Mama Bracelets made the donation to the Spring-for-SIDS Event and contacted all the purchasers of “The HALO Bracelet” so they could be provided with documentation of the donation.

“Keeping our customers informed about exactly what we’re doing is very important,” explains the Finance Director, “integrity goes a long way these days!”

Mama Bracelets has been contacted by another organization in hopes that they too can utilize the creative and profitable strategies Mama Bracelets employs to raise funds.

“We are happy to work with any reputable organization in efforts to raise awareness about their cause and raise funds to help them reach their humanitarian goals,” Casten says. “It’s exciting, educational, and helps bring us all together.”
