The Lash Lounge Announces New Austin Texas Location

Austin, TX, May 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Lash Lounge plans to open the first week of May in the Shops at River Place.

The Lash Lounge will offer semi-permanent eyelash extensions, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, and permanent makeup such as eyeliner and lip liner. There will be private application rooms with certified technicians.

"With permanent eyeliner, you do not have to worry about it rubbing off due to allergies," Robertson said. Permanent lip liner creates more defined lips, she added.

The Lash Lounge will also be a boutique with clothes, shoes and accessories.

"There are not a lot of choices in Austin for that combination of a boutique and upscale salon," Robertson said.

The Lash Lounge started in Dallas in 2006 and today has three locations with two more opening soon. Robertson is the first franchisee opening in Austin. There are plans to have a couple more Austin locations.

"I hope to purchase those as well," Robertson said. She drives a company car called Lucy Lashes that is decked out with lashes above the headlights.
