Kern County Author Adam Rendon Retains MAYO Communications for National Publicity
Rendon who grew up in a small town in Kern County, California, is hoping his novel “The Vallie” will guide others who have faced an abusive and challenging childhood.
Los Angeles, CA, May 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- MAYO Communications has been hired as the agency of record by Author Adam Rendon for national publicity. Rendon, who resides in Lamont, CA, has just penned his first novel entitled The Vallie, an autobiographical novel spanning the author’s early childhood to today. The Vallie recounts the hardships of running away to a safe home with his mother and two older siblings to escape an abusive father.
The story reveals Rendon’s tough upbringing and how he lied to become popular in high school. Life’s mistakes forces him to face reality, experience emotional and physical breakdowns in both personally in his relationships, and cope with two gory deaths in the family.
"April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month,” said Author Adam Rendon, “and I can’t think of a better time -- or PR agency than MAYO -- to help me take my story to the public.”
Based in Los Angeles, with offices in New York, San Diego and Bern, Switzerland, MAYO specializes in social media, entertainment, high-tech, business, hospitality, and lifestyle branding.
MAYO Communications is no stranger to authors and entertainment publicity. Most recently MAYO helped promote author and actress Marina Anderson, who published David Carradine: The Eye of My Tornado. Anderson was married to the late Kung Fu TV series icon David Carradine.
