The Display Link Invests in a Greener Future
The UK large format printing company has announced the acquisition of new environmentally friendly equipment and an extension of its green policy for 2011.
Sheffield, United Kingdom, May 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sheffield based exhibition display solutions supplier The Display Link has reaffirmed its pledge to help improve the environment via the acquisition of two new HP 25500 60 inch large format printers.
Display Link Director Sean Morton commented: “The Display Link is always looking for new ways to ease the strain of printing on the environment. The purchase of the new HP printers is a clear signal of our willingness to spend money if there is any benefit to the environment whatsoever.”
Making use of water based latex ink which drastically reduces the strain of printing on the environment; the HP printers have a number of green benefits:
- Capacity for HP recyclable media which can be returned via the HP Planet Partners program.
- Attractiveness to like-minded environmentally aware customers ensuring on-going green commitments in the printing industry.
- The use of the aforementioned water-based latex ink which is non-combustible and non-flammable.
Aside from the obvious environmental advantages, the new HP printers create odourless, smudge-resistant prints which are immediately dry upon printing therefore resulting in quicker finishing times. Additionally, all prints are consistent from one print to the next and are extremely durable; this resulting in display solutions that are suitable for a particularly wide range of requirements.
Sean went on to say: “Throughout 2011 and into 2012, our service provision will continue to evolve and coupled with a soon-to-be-announced green policy; we envisage that The Display Link will maintain its position at the forefront of large scale printing in the UK for many years to come.”
