Asheville, NC, March 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- KidBean.com, your Vegan Family Superstore, recently added a gift registry service designed to make eco-friendly gift buying simple and convenient. KidBean.com specializes in earth-friendly, labor-friendly, vegan baby products, as well as items for children and adults. Owner Melissa Zenz explains, "We give preference to products made in the USA, and always strive in everything we do to have the most positive impact on people, animals, and the planet we all share."
The integration of the eWish registry to KidBean.com's online store of over 700 products means shoppers can set up a gift registry of natural and organic cotton baby gifts quickly and easily and then use convenient Add-to-Registry Buttons to build a gift list. Friends then visit the registry to view the list of gifts and make their purchases on-line or by contacting KidBean.com via phone. The gift registry can be used for a variety of occasions. “The majority of our registries are for new families,” Zenz points out. “But they really can be used for events other than baby showers and birthdays.”
Zenz recalls the inspiration for KidBean.com, "When I was pregnant with my daughter eight years ago, I first began searching for safe, natural, vegan baby products. I quickly grew frustrated with the limited options. I found a thing or two here and there, but had to purchase from dozens of sites to get what I needed." Soon after, the business plan for KidBean.com was drafted. The idea was centered around three core requirements: Every product had to be vegan (made exclusively of animal-free ingredients and not tested on animals), every product had to be safe and natural, and the store had to be like a department-store in its offerings, so that many options would be available. "My focus has always been on offering a pleasant, easy-to-use store in which families could select from a wide variety of natural, organic vegan products," says Zenz. "I strive, in everything I do, to have the smallest possible environmental impact and to reduce suffering."
KidBean.com’s new eWish registry is full service and provides features that both registrants and gift-givers will find appealing, including a photo album, guestbook, e-notification and RSVP function. In addition, the registry keeps track of all items purchased, making 'Thank you' notes a breeze. Each registrant gets a unique link to send to friends and family or post on a personal website. That link will take guests directly to the registry. Registrants also have the ability to secure their registry by requiring a guest password; thus limiting access.
KidBean.com is based in Asheville, North Carolina and operates on the web at http://www.kidbean.com/. Press inquiries should be directed to Jeff Corpening at jcorpening@kidbean.com.
