AccuRev Announces SCM Enhancements to AccuBridge for Eclipse Plug-In at EclipseCon 2007
Lexington, MA, March 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- AccuRev Inc. today announced at EclipseCon 2007 significant new features for its AccuBridge for Eclipse™ plug-in. AccuBridge for Eclipse allows developers to directly access AccuRev best-of-breed software configuration management (SCM) functionality directly within their familiar IDE integration platform.
New performance and usability enhancements within AccuBridge for Eclipse 4.5.1 include:
• Eclipse Team Synchronization support – Using the AccuRev synchronization view, developers can synchronize their local development workspace with other developers’ changes. The synchronization allows developers to perform multiple operations (Keep, Promote, Add to Depot, etc.) in one step, saving time and increasing productivity.
• AccuRev Perspective – A customizable AccuRev perspective has been added allowing developers to quickly view the collection of windows of most importance to them (for e.g., synchronize, AccuRev history, and AccuRev custom search).
• Eclipse Update Manager support – AccuBridge for Eclipse now supports the use of the Eclipse Update Manager for AccuRev plug-in installation and updates.
