Access Self Storage Helps Library Renovation Succeed
Dallas, TX, May 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Children at Kiest Elementary School were thrilled to find a literary friend in Access Self Storage last month when the Dallas-area chain donated new decor and over 100 books to the school’s library.
To aid the library, which has been undergoing renovations, student council members sent out hundreds of letters to community businesses and organizations asking for donations of books, supplies, and decorative materials. Access Self Storage was the only business to respond - and the request could not have come at a better time.
“We were fortunate to be housing the World’s Largest Garage Sale at the same time the [school’s] letter came in,” says Access owner Doug Hunt. “We bought up every suitable book we could find and sent them over.” Hunt invited Kiest Elementary Librarian Adrianna Marroquin to his East Dallas Access facility to help him choose appropriate books for the school’s library and also purchased decorative items to donate as well.
With a plethora of new reading material at their fingertips, the students at Kiest Elementary can look forward to new stories as they head into the end of the school year.
Inquiries should be directed to Doug Hunt at 214-742-9499 or doug@ownersmanagementco.com.
