Denver Promotional Supply Company EPS-Doublet Part of Top-Secret Concept for America’s Next Great Restaurant

Denver, CO, May 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Up until the moment Jamawn Woods’ Soul Daddy restaurant was announced as the winner of America’s Next Great Restaurant on May 1, 2011, all details of the new fast casual eatery’s identity had been a highly guarded secret. Local Denver printer and event promotional supply company, EPS-Doublet, was one of the trusted suppliers charged with executing the conceptual vision, all the while staying mum on their involvement with the show, and moreover, the show’s winner. Sworn to secrecy for more than a month, a few select EPS-Doublet team members managed the production of distinctive new menu boards for a project internally known only as “Restaurant X.” The colorful and effective menu boards now serve as a key design element in the three locations of Soul Daddy that opened to the public last Monday.

As part of what the project’s San Francisco-based Creative Director called “the inner circle of secrecy,” the sales and production associates in-the-know had to keep the privileged information not only from their fellow employees, but from their families following the show at home as well. “Watching the evolution of the Soul Daddy menu was interesting,” says EPS-Doublet Vice President Sean Matthews, “but knowing the winner definitely made for an anti-climactic finale.”

The menu boards produced by EPS-Doublet are intended to both highlight the brand’s identity and be a functional and sustainable element of the restaurant’s décor. The frame system into which the boards are installed allows for easy change out as the menu updates, and the boards themselves are comprised of 100% recycled material.
