Keanna N. Houston Releases Her First Published Book of Poetry “Simple Complexity: A Uneek Reflection of Love”

Lorton, VA, March 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Simple Complexity is a compilation of poems written from 1993 – 2006 that encompass the author’s life and all of the many challenges young females face. It is a collection of poems in which the author journeys through life in an effort to find out who she is and what love means. Many of the poems encompass the very essence of what she feels love is and her relentless desire to love in that manner. Though many of the poems are a young child’s fantasy of love and life and what love should be, you can clearly see the evolution from 1993 until the present in which we can see Keanna grow, mature, and learn both mentally and in her writing.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Keanna N. (Scott) Houston has been writing poetry for over 14 years now. She attended Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University where she obtained her bachelor’s of science in business management in 2004 and is currently obtaining her Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Walden University; expected October 2007. She works full time as a Contract Specialist and is President of K & K Houston Company (www.kkhouston.com) in Lorton, VA. She currently resides in Lorton, VA with her husband Kevin. She has several poetic works published through the National Society of Poets including Don’t, A Dedication to my Black Men, and Always. This is her first published book.
