Coral Springs, FL, May 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Linda Berlin, Psy.D & Psychological Associates welcomes Ailyn D. Diaz, MD to the practice. She is a board certified psychiatrist with a wealth of experience and knowledge in treating childhood and adolescent mental health disorders. She previously practiced at Community Services Group in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Diaz grew up in South Florida and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Biological Sciences. She attended Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania and completed her medical degree in May 2000. She continued to pursue her psychiatric residency at Pennsylvania State University in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry.

In 2004, she received the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Midyear Institute Scholarship Award on the "Institute on ADHD" headed by Timothy Wilens, MD. She also participated in the "Advanced Experiential Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workshop" directed and supervised by Aaron Beck, MD from the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
