Synagogue to Hold Tribute Dinner Fundraiser
Milwaukee, WI, May 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Congregation Beth Israel announced today that it will hold a Tribute Dinner fundraiser on June 13, 2011.
The synagogue has a tradition of holding tribute dinner fundraisers to honor volunteers from among its membership who go above and beyond to help the synagogue and the broader community. This year's honorees are: Selma Zeiger, Community Service Award; Marty Stein, Congregation Beth Israel Service Award; and Jordy and Merry Atinsky, Congregation Beth Israel Volunteer Award.
"We have several fundraisers each year at Congregation Beth Israel and this one will be an elegant, sit-down dinner in which we show our appreciation for several of our outstanding volunteers," said Anita Nagurka, executive director of the congregation. "It's a way for our members and family & friends of the honorees to show them how much we appreciate all they do. All of them are tireless, dedicated individuals."
The dinner will be held on June 13 at 5:30 pm at Congregation Beth Israel and will be followed immediately by the congregation's annual meeting.
Information about attending the dinner and/or placing a congratulatory message in the tribute book is available through the synagogue's office or on the synagogue's Web site at cbimilwaukee.org. Opportunities to sponsor parts of the event are also available. The synagogue can be contacted at anitan@cbimilwaukee.org or 414-352-7310.
