Amber Alert Issued for Three Day Old Texas Newborn (Mychael Darthard)

Springfield, IL, March 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Texas Department of Public Safety and The Lubbock Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-day-old girl abducted from Covenant Lakeside Hospital in Lubbock.

Authorities said Mychael Darthard, a black female, measures 19 inches long and weighs 10 pounds. She is possibly jaundiced. 

Authorities believe the newborn was abducted by a black female in her early 20s who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds with a medium build and light complexion. The suspect has black hair and dark eyes.

The woman was last seen wearing a flower-print scrub shirt, light blue scrub pants and a gray puffy jacket. Her hair was pulled together with a scrunchy.

There may be a black male associated with the suspect vehicle, a 2000-2006 Red Dodge pickup truck with black trim and tinted windows.
