South Nassau Communities Hospital to Co-Host LI’s First Annual Medical, Surgical Weight Loss Expo

South Nassau Communities Hospital and New York Bariatrics & Laparoscopy, PC, will host Long Island’s First Annual Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Expo on Saturday, May 21, from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the Uniondale Marriott in Hempstead, NY.

Oceanside, NY, May 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Long Island’s First Annual Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Expo to be held Saturday, May 21, from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the Uniondale Marriott in Hempstead, NY. Presented by South Nassau Communities Hospital and Rajeev Vohra, MD, FACS - New York Bariatrics & Laparoscopy, PC, the expo will provide essential, detailed information about weight loss surgery and medical weight loss programs and how to achieve the maximum benefits of all weight-loss options.

It will be highlighted by a fashion show celebrating and showcasing weight-loss patients (whose combined weight loss is in excess of 1,000 pounds) as well as a “cooking lite” demonstration by weight-loss surgery patient and renowned Head Chef Craig Reid of Sheraton NY Hotel and Towers.
