Barbour ABI Releases Construction Analysis Report
Today, Barbour ABI is releasing the next instalment of Construction Review – their quarterly industry analysis, which highlights key building projects and the best performing sectors.
Cheshire, United Kingdom, May 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Construction Review is a popular read amongst construction industry professionals. Starting with leading stories from two respected sources; Brian Green who blogs for Building magazine and Dr Noble Francis from the Construction Products Association.
The review goes on to provide a detailed analysis of all sectors within the construction industry. Here’s an extract from the Commercial & Retail Sector Summary (January to March 2011):
Continued promise for the commercial sector saw total values of contract awards up very slightly to maintain the performance from the last quarter in 2010. This represented a growth of over 10% on the corresponding quarter of last year.
However Sarah Ledger, economist at Markit, said: “Worryingly, new order growth slowed more notably than that of activity in March, pointing to a slowdown in activity over the coming months, especially if the pattern is sustained.”
Barbour ABI reports on every new building project in the UK, enhancing planning application and public tender information at each stage of the construction lifecycle. For over 70 years, the Barbour ABI portfolio has provided industry leading services to the construction community.
Rebecca Pedler, Marketing Manager, says: “We’ve been producing Construction Review for a number of years now, and it’s always been well received. It provides a great insight into the sectors performance, whilst also introducing the flexibility of Barbour ABI’s services. This report is compiled in-house using ABI’s data and reporting capabilities, and is a free publication for everyone to use.”
