TTR Sotheby’s International Realty Acquires Hounshell Real Estate

Washington, DC, May 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TTR Sotheby’s International Realty (TTR/SIR) has announced that it will acquire DC based realty firm Hounshell Real Estate and Property Management.

Hounshell Real Estate, a twenty person firm located in northwest Washington DC has been a mainstay of the downtown real estate market and a key player in the residential revitalization of the 14th Street corridor and surrounding communities. “We are thrilled to welcome Bill Hounshell as part of our team,” said Michael Rankin, Managing Partner at TTR/SIR.

The main office of Hounshell Real Estate will become the downtown office of TTR/SIR, adding a fourth location to its three existing offices in Georgetown, DC, McLean, Virginia and Chevy Chase, Maryland.
