DDC NY President Mosbacher Highlights Alliance with TransGuardian at Major Industry Seminar
New York, NY, May 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Moshe Mosbacher, President of the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York, hosted a seminar on tax laws pertaining to foreign assets on May 12, 2011 at the DDC’s Fifth Avenue premises.
Jonathan Kaiman, Accountant and Auditor, organized the event, at which the guest speaker was Joseph Septimus, Esq., of the law firm Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP.
In attendance were seventy representatives of some of New York’s largest diamond firms, from the DDC and Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA).
Mr. Mosbacher took the opportunity to present the DDC’s new initiatives with TransGuardian, including Bonded Web Trading, which permits diamond dealers to insure their accounts receivable, Concierge Shipping Services, which saves the industry a minimum of 30% on insured logistics, an exclusive and official US Postal substation inside the Diamond Club, and a customized, automated solution for dealers to establish their mandatory compliance with the USA PATRIOT Act.
“My vision,” said Mr. Mosbacher, “is for us to work together to bring new growth and inspiration to our industry. I have just returned from meeting the London Diamond Bourse, and their enthusiasm for our programs shows me that this is not a DDC plan alone; it’s a way for the DDC, the IDCA, and other associations to cooperate so that one plus one becomes four and two plus two becomes eight.”
“I’m pleased to have been instrumental in bringing the DDC and TransGuardian together,” said Jonathan Kaiman. “I have always been committed to the greater good of our market. We’ve seen the TransGuardian AML Programs successfully pass many IRS audits, and we have confidence in Joseph Septimus’ valuable expertise. I am always motivated to promote services and individuals who can support our industry in meaningful ways.”
“Out of hard times, such as today’s economy presents, come great new ideas and successes,” said Paul Freedman of TransGuardian. “I think the leadership of men like Mr. Mosbacher and Mr. Kaiman are breaking new ground.”
“Today’s opportunities are far bigger than today’s challenges,” said Jim Moseley, TransGuardian’s President/CEO. “We’re privileged to associate with the kind of leadership we see here tonight, because leadership turns potential into power.”
