With the focus on global warming increasing as the awareness of the damage caused through the burning of fossil fuels has become apparent, uranium stocks have benefited as the bid for nuclear power strengthens.
Eric Axel describes, “The run for many uranium stock prices has been enormous, on average between 80-100%, and with uranium companies expanding I think there is still a run left in them. You do need to be selective and this of course always goes back management.”
Looking to the oil market both ‘speculators’ have a positive outlook on the sector. “I am very bullish on oil for several reasons. I think the geopolitical uncertainty and the nearing U.S. election will drive prices north of $70 per barrel. Short-term I think pure oil plays will continue to do well going into the summer. As an investor I would look for oil and gas service companies as my number one priority,” states Kevin Sylla.
