American Society of Anesthesiologists Debuts a New “myASA”
New community expands services with the help of Foundation648 expertise and technology from Telligent and Sitecore.
Dallas, TX, May 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Telligent, a leader in social community software, congratulates its partner Foundation648 on its latest collaboration in the launch of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) community site, myASA.
By employing a key integration between Telligent and Sitecore, the new community debuted this spring with a new look and new integrated services.
At the onset of the project, ASA was seeking a suite of solutions that would unify and help it manage the web content on its various web properties. Its objectives were to seek a Content Management Solution (CMS) and community solution that would help simplify site structure and provide a cohesively branded, engaging environment for ASA members to interact.
To find the right solutions, ASA contracted with Foundation648, a web solutions provider for companies that use the web to reach customers throughout the world. Foundation648 went through a discovery phase based on project requirements and recommended Telligent Community as the basis for the new "myASA" community portal. Foundation648 found that Telligent was a perfect fit because of its integration with Sitecore, solid customer relationship management (CRM) integration, and ability to create custom functions, such as membership lookup as well as advocacy and product lookup, all embedded in Telligent’s impressive user experience.

By hosting a single sign on for all third-party systems, which also integrates with ASA’s CRM, and providing members a portal to update their information, ASA has been able to add significant value to its member’s experience.
