Skull Coast Ale Company's "Scallywag - Toasted Almond Ale" Wins Gastonia Brew Festival
Every year the Gastonia Brew Festival lets fans vote for their favorite beer at the festival. This year, fans chose Skull Coast's "Scallywag - Toasted Almond Ale" as the best beer at the festival.
Fort Mill, SC, May 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Skull Coast Ale Company is pleased to announce that the fans at the 2011 Gastonia Brew Festival, held at the Gastonia Grizzlies minor league ballpark, voted for Scallywag - Toasted Almond Ale as their favorite.
With over 100 beers available for fans to chose from, the company's Chief Drinking Officer, David Fox, was completely surprised. "Scallywag was just recently released. It's one of new Summer beers. To come out of the gate like this and win the festival is a major honor. We couldn't be happier."
As the winner of the fans favorite, Scallywag Toasted Almond Ale will now be available to purchase at all Gastonia Grizzlies home games for the remainder of the 2011 season.
