Change in the Management Team at Gardemann: Matthew Hickin Takes Over from Maarten Mijnlieff

Lutterworth, United Kingdom, May 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Maarten Mijnlieff, director at Gardemann Arbeitsbuhnen GmbH in Alpen, Germany, is leaving the company at the end of May. Maarten has been a director at the company for nine years, the last four and half under the umbrella of Gardemann's parent company, Lavendon Group.

Maarten Mijnlieff is now preparing to pursue new challenges and develop his own business interests.

His responsibilities in the Gardemann management team will be taken over by Matthew Hickin from June 1. Matthew previously worked as Director of Strategy & Business Development at the Vaillant Group, Germany, before becoming a member of its management team in the Netherlands and in Asia-Pacific. "It took quite some time to find a strong new manager with the right skills and experience, who is capable of taking our business further forward," Kevin Appleton said, "but I am confident that we have found exactly this person in Matthew Hickin."
