CertaPro Painters Pledges Charitable Contribution to Show Customer Appreciation
CertaPro Painters of Southern New Hampshire is donating one percent of sales from each residential painting contract to the New Hampshire Food Bank in the customer's name.
Manchester, NH, May 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- CertaPro Painters of Southern New Hampshire recently launched a customer appreciation program with the needs of the community also in mind. Serge Nadeau, General Manager/Owner announced they will be donating one percent of sales from each residential painting contract to the New Hampshire Food Bank in the customer’s name.
“We wanted a unique way to show our customers our appreciation for their continued support. By making a donation in their name to the New Hampshire Food Bank, we not only thank them but also give back to the community,” Nadeau explains.
“It amazes me that, even in difficult economic times, businesses like CertaPro are stepping up to the plate for New Hampshire’s hungry,” stated Lisa Merrill-Burzak, Vice President of Development for New Hampshire Catholic Charities, the Food Bank’s program operator. “We are extremely grateful for CertaPro’s generosity and hope other businesses and individuals will follow its lead.”
CertaPro Painters of Southern New Hampshire is both proud and excited to be involved with such a worthwhile cause. According to the New Hampshire Food Bank website, every year the Food Bank distributes over 6.5 million pounds of donated, surplus food to 412 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, day care centers and senior citizen homes. These registered agencies in turn provide the food to the over 127,200 different men, women and children throughout the state. The Food Bank also advocates for systemic change, and educates the public about the nature of, and solutions to, problems of hunger in New Hampshire.
