Tally Systems Updates QuickMeasure OnScreen Takeoff Software

San DIego, CA, May 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tally Systems - www.tallysystem.com - has announced the release of the latest update of QuickMeasure OnScreen, a software product that generates takeoffs from PDF and other digital formats. The product is used by construction estimators to measure counts, length and areas from blueprints downloaded from the Internet or distributed on CD. The latest release improves document control by adding a directional zoom and auto-pan feature.

The two new features allow the user to maneuver through the document quickly and with more ease. When zoomed in on a blueprint, the auto-pan feature will advance the screen as the estimator moves to the outer boundaries of the zoom window, eliminating the need to pan using manual techniques. The directional zoom feature will target the location of where the application zooms, relative to the location of the cursor position. Both features are included in the latest release.
