Dream Town Realty Welcomes 5 New Chicago Real Estate Agents in April
Five real estate agents joined Chicago-based brokerage Dream Town Realty in April. The new additions to Dream Town's residential sales team are Martin Lord, Wendy Lee, Syd Hill, Luis Ramos and Aaron Vanderbilt. All five realtors provide buying and selling services to clients in the Chicago area.
Chicago, IL, May 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dream Town Realty, the leader in online Chicago real estate, announced that five new agents joined the company last month. The April recruits are Martin Lord, Wendy Lee, Syd Hill, Luis Ramos and Aaron Vanderbilt. All five agents are full-time with Dream Town and specialize in all aspects of the market, including residential sales, new construction developments, investment properties, short sales and leasing.
Martin Lord started with the company on April 1st. Mr. Lord has been in the business for over a decade and has a background in real estate development as well. He is well-acquainted with the city, having grown up in the near west suburbs and living in Chicago since 1986. Mr. Lord has an extensive track record of successful real estate transactions that began shortly after his own first home purchase. As he says, "The reason I became a realtor in the first place is because of my own experience when I bought my own place. That was ten years ago, since then I've sold hundreds of properties for sellers and worked with hundreds of buyers." He says he especially enjoys working with first-time buyers and people that are relocating to Chicago from the suburbs, other cities or even around the world.
Wendy Lee also joined Dream Town at the beginning of April. Ms. Lee is an experienced realtor whose clientele ranges from first-time home buyers and sellers to veteran investors and rentals. She is a native Chicagoan with nine years in real estate and a concentration in Chicago's South and North markets. She is well-connected within the industry and prides herself on being able to assist clients beyond her own expertise. "My services are not limited to what I personally can offer," explains Ms. Lee. "It's my job to ensure a smooth, trouble-free process in every aspect of the transaction, not just the part that's under my control. Beyond the property search, contract negotiation or listing campaign I put my clients in touch with whomever they need—lender, inspector, attorney, contractor, painter, landscaper—you name it."
Now that she is with the company, Ms. Lee has the vast resources of Dream Town at her disposal as well. The brokerage's advanced online technology and proprietary marketing systems provide mass exposure for property listings and comprehensive search functions for house hunters. Dream Town has been recognized in the past for its award-winning website and recently the company made headlines with its ground-breaking Groupon deal, which is said to be the nation's first Groupon for real estate.
It is that pioneering innovation that intrigued Syd Hill, another new addition to Dream Town's residential sales team. Prior to starting with Dream Town in early April, Ms. Hill spent over 15 years planning affordable and market rate housing developments, working with investors to implement asset management procedures and integrate sustainable solutions in residential and commercial projects. "Over the last decade and a half I have dealt with all sides of the Chicago housing market," says Ms. Hill. "The knowledge, insight and appreciation I've gained from that experience have proven a huge advantage in how I assist my buying and selling clients now." In addition to being a full-time realtor, Ms. Hill is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Blacks on Green, which promotes the benefits of a "green" economy.
Luis Ramos was brought into Dream Town in mid-April. He has a degree in architecture and worked as a leasing consultant prior to becoming a licensed realtor. His educational training provides an added benefit to clients who have questions about the structural integrity of a home, feasibility of remodeling an existing space or general inquiries about a property's architectural genre. Mr. Ramos speaks two languages, "Being bilingual in Spanish and English, I can assist clients who might otherwise be intimidated by the language barrier when buying or selling a home."
Also new to Dream Town last month is Aaron Vanderbilt. Mr. Vanderbilt has been a realtor for nine years and received his broker's license in 2006. As a lifelong resident of Chicago, Mr. Vanderbilt has a vast repertoire of neighborhood information that spans the entire of the city. He does both residential and commercial sales, and is an avid real estate investor himself. "Real estate isn't just my business, it's also my personal interest," Mr. Vanderbilt says. "That passion is carried over to my clients' interests, which are always my priority. I'm committed to educating my clients and providing them with tools that they can use in future real estate endeavors."
