Many news reports have stated that the terrible earthquake and disaster that followed in Japan has reduced the number of new Toyota vehicles available to sell. According to Richard Bond the General Manager at Cramer Toyota of Venice, “Our hearts go out to the victims of this terrible disaster. Growing up in California, I have firsthand experience with the devastation that can be caused by earthquakes. This disaster is far greater than just an earthquake. This will affect the people of Japan for a decade. As for vehicle availability, initially Toyota had some minor issues with parts, but at this time we have as many cars on the lot as in the best of times.” Cramer Toyota of Venice has not only new Pruis, Camry, Venza and Corolla inventory in every color available, but the used car inventory at Cramer Toyota of Venice is bigger than it has been in 6 months. Bond explains further, “Because we have been selling so many new Toyotas, our used inventory has ballooned.
