Author Foretells New Head of Al Qaeda in Top Political Fiction Novel
In her highly rated “White King and the Doctor” and “White King Rising” political fiction novels author Lee Kessler correctly theorizes who would be chosen to replace Bin Laden as head of Al Qaeda.
Los Angeles, CA, May 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Last week terrorism expert Peter Bergen reported on CNN International that the Egyptian Saif al-Adel [AKA Mohamed Makkawi] has been appointed as a "caretaker" leader of Al Qaeda, following the death of its emir Osama bin Laden. In an eerie coincidence the same scenario plays out in Lee Kessler’s books White King and the Doctor and White King Rising, which recently hit the Amazon.com best seller list in the Political Fiction category.
Kessler says, “In doing the research for White King and the Doctor and White King Rising I came upon al- Adel's alias and fashioned the "Makkawi" character after him. In the book I theorized Makkawi would have been the one selected by Military Commander Atef to replace him in the event of his death. Thus Makkawi came to be a major character in both books.”
In White King and the Doctor and White King Rising, Lee Kessler exposes the tactics used by terrorist Ayman Al-Zawahiri to bring down America from within. Ex-CIA analyst James Mikolas enlists Gen Y’ers Andy Weir and Brian Washington Carver to leverage their technology and computer gaming skills to stop Zawahiri from triggering his doomsday scenario against the United States—set to launch June 30, 2011.
“I knew I was on the right track about how terrorists think and the dangers we as Americans face,” said Kessler, “when Steve Luckey, International Counter Terrorist Specialist in his review wrote, ‘…Lee Kessler has done the free world a genuine favor!’ and Sharon Warner, former NASA Public Affairs Officer & Strategic Communications Consultant commented on Amazon that ‘[White King Rising] creates a "bird's eye view" connecting the dots of the back story now aimed at America's total demise … exposes the real world threats and who and what are actually behind them.’”
White King and the Doctor and White King Rising are timely suspense thrillers filled with political intrigue, terrorist plot scenarios, and national security issues.
