World Dance News Blog Launches with News About the Wide (and Sometimes Wild) World of Dance
All World Dance at www.allworlddance.com features world dance news from ballet to breakdancing. Blogger-in-Chief Clyde Smith presents world dance news as a celebration of humans dancing with respect for all forms of dance.
Asheville, NC, May 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- A new dance website has officially launched featuring dance news for lovers of dance across genres and national boundaries. All World Dance offers daily dance news from ballet to breakdancing, books to movies, events to education. If you want all the news, it's available via multiple subscription options including Twitter and Facebook. But if you only want to follow a single category, such as ballet or dance movies, then you have that option as well.
In addition to world dance news, All World Dance is planning a Dance Encyclopedia for research and homework help and a College Dance Guide. The College Dance Guide will provide information not only on universities with dance majors but also on dance minors, certificates and community college programs.
Clyde Smith is Blogger-in-Chief at All World Dance bringing a background as a dancer, choreographer, dance scholar and dance fan to a search for the eclectic and the everyday. Believing that we're all dancers and that all dance is valuable, Clyde covers dance news from the local to the global.
"We're in the middle of a major dance boom. Ballroom dancers and breakdancers are getting their own tv shows. Ballet movies are making major box office. Even the First Lady is dancing to encourage young people to get fit. All World Dance intends to contribute to this exciting moment in dance history with news about all kinds of dance, wherever it occurs," states Smith.
After over a decade of professional dance performance followed by academic training as a dance researcher, Clyde Smith began to immerse himself in the world of web publishing. After launching, running and selling the two leading hip hop business websites, Clyde returns to the world of dance with a comprehensive dance news blog connecting high art, popular culture and everyday dancing for fun.
Bio: Clyde Smith, PhD, first danced for audiences in high school during a local theater production of Once Upon A Mattress and went on to receive a BFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
