Project Navigator, Ltd.'s (Brea, CA) solar project development team announced today plans to accelerate expansion to East Coast markets. In addition to current projects in New Jersey and Delaware, PV Navigator plans to participate in RFPs regarding New York City's plan to install PV solar facilities on thousands of acres of the City’s landfill space.
The City’s landfills are capped and monitored to protect the environment and the health of its residents. PV Navigator possesses specific expertise in developing “PV solar on landfill systems.” PVN will propose and design PV installations that will not compromise or damage the landfills’ environmental management systems such as gas recovery, leachate management, and long-term space monitoring.
