Austin, TX, May 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Uneak Press, Inc., A locally owned and operated publishing house that specializes in fiction by authors driven by passion and vision over formula, released its first work by Thriller screenwriter/novelist J.A. Carlton, http://www.jacarlton.com. Titled “Broken,” this book is an unapologetic glimpse into the creation of, and last three days in the life of a mission based serial killer.
Inspired by actual events, “Broken” was born from the intensive study of several of America’s most reviled serial killers in conjunction with some of the defining principles of sociopathic behavior as observed and reported by Behavioral Expert Robert Ressler.
“When I read “Broken” for the first time, I realized it was the perfect piece to introduce both Miss Carlton as well as Uneak to the public.” Says Elaine Zuliani – Co-Founder and Spokes-person for Uneak Press, Inc.
“What a Ride! Once you start going with this story you can not put it down!” Kat Wang, Vestfold-Norway.
Carlton’s hybrid blend of screenwriting brevity and novelist prose ensures her works are ‘fast’ reads without sacrificing conceptual or intellectual integrity.
“(Jill’s) writing assumes a certain intellect in her reader that’s very refreshing.” - S. Gratsinger
Uneak Press, Inc. “A Publisher for Writers Passionate About Their Craft,” prides itself on being a haven for storytellers, artisans and wordsmiths. Miss Carlton’s next release through Uneak will be “Wednesday’s Child” the first in her sociopolitical- science fiction, “Freedom Fighter” series.
