SwingFrame Breaks Through: Company Doubles Size of Facilities
Display fixture manufacturer Access Display Group, creator of the SwingFrame quick-changing framing system, is breaking through the walls of its existing factory, expanding into an adjacent space and doubling the size of its facilities in the process.
Freeport, NY, May 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Access Display Group, Inc. (ADG), a leading designer and manufacturer of changeable poster display frames, signage fixtures and display cases, has announced plans to expand its Long Island office and manufacturing facilities.
Effective June 1, ADG will take over the site next to its current factory in Freeport, Long Island, where it has been for the last 12 years. The company will literally break through the walls of its existing facilities, doubling its square footage and making room for more manufacturing space and customer service capabilities.
Founded in 1992, ADG designs, manufactures and distributes signage display fixtures. The company is best known for its patented “SwingFrame” multi-purpose frame and display system. SwingFrames are swing-open display fixtures with discrete hinge and locking mechanisms. To the uninitiated viewer, SwingFrames look like custom picture frames: once mounted to a wall, you can’t tell that they swing open. SwingFrames allow users to quickly and easily access their displays, change and update as needed.
In addition to SwingFrames, ADG manufactures and distributes a range of other quick-changing display fixture products, including poster snap frames, changeable letter boards, enclosed bulletin boards, shadow box display cases, back lit and LED light boxes.
“Our mission has always been to design and manufacture unique display frames and fixtures for a wide range of industries,” explains Charles Abrams, president and founder of ADG, “and we have been very successful so far in building our multi-purpose 'SwingFrame' display system and other attractive, user-friendly fixtures for everyone from local retailers to national chains, from schools and universities to government agencies, from financial institutions to military facilities.”
Mr. Abrams continues, “As the word has gotten out about our products, we have found the need to expand our manufacturing and customer service capabilities to meet demand. We started by adding more products and more employees, and we soon found ourselves needing more room. Thankfully, the space next door became available, giving us room to grow without needing to disrupt our busy production schedule.”
This latest announcement comes on the heels of a series of accomplishments for the 20 year-old company. Over the last 3 years, ADG has focused on expanding its online footprint with the launch of 11 niche e-commerce websites, each focused on a different sector of the display fixture market. This strategy has been paying off, as the company announced a 52% sales increase in the past year. ADG is now growing its facilities to better meet the demand of its customers.
