New York, NY, March 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- New York Giants, All Pro Linebacker, Antonio Pierce will hit the runway in his first nationally televised fashion show. Tune in on March 14th at 10pm EST for BET’s 3rd Annual Rip the Runway fashion show.
BET’s Rip the Runway, hosted by Chris Brown and Ciara will feature collections by top designers and performances by the hottest artists in the industry. The annual show was attended by the “who’s who” in fashion and music including; Mims, Tyrese, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Rich Boy, Omarion, Lloyd, Kid Capri, AMT Models Jade, Nik, Bree and Tocara, Brooke Hogan and many others.
Pierce, who sported a designer suit from the Steve Harvey Collection, was a show stopper in his light green pin striped ensemble, complete with the signature Steve Harvey hat.
The 6’2, 240 pound lineman never thought he would add runway model to his long list of accomplishments. “I’m not that skinny model type guy. I’m a 3x,” states Pierce. “But when I put that suit on and cocked that hat to the side, I was the man.”
Although opponents call him Antonio “Fierce” Pierce, he is a gentle Giant and spends his off-season reaching out to those less fortunate. He will host 400 inner city campers at his 3rd Annual Free Football Camp for Kids in Compton, California on March 31st. Pierce, who is from Compton, feels it is important for the youth to know that determination and hard work can be their key to success.
So whether it’s running over his opponents on the field, lending a hand in the community or strutting his stuff on the runway, Antonio Pierce does it all with style.
