Beynon Sports Surfaces Installs New Indoor Surface at University of Wyoming
Hunt Valley, MD, May 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The University of Wyoming has selected Beynon Sports Surfaces to upgrade their War Memorial Fieldhouse with the state of the art BSS 1000 Hobart texture IAAF certified 13mm track surface and PolyTurf Plus 10mm Smooth textured Spike Proof multi-sport surface.
The University of Wyoming’s Cowboys and Cowgirls student-athletes are coming off of a great outdoor season where 13 track student-athletes qualified for the 2011 NCAA West Preliminary Round, which will be held in Eugene, Oregon. Nine of the athletes who qualified rank in the top four in the University of Wyoming’s all-time record book for their respective events.
With a projected installation date of July 15th the indoor season for 2012 looks to be just as promising. The bioengineered force reduction layer of the BSS 1000 integrates very fine SBR rubber with environmentally friendly polyurethane to create an impermeable shock-absorbing cushion that will provide the athletes with a surface that allows them to get the most out of their training with very little impact on their bodies.
“The new Beynon surface will provide The University of Wyoming’s track and field team a track system that allows them to push their performance to the limit.” Drew Beynon, Chief Operating Officer Beynon Sports Surfaces. “Designed by our experienced team of chemists and engineers, the BSS 1000 is the optimal surface for training and competing.”
