Moore Farms and Friends Online Market Coming to Birmingham

Birmingham, AL, May 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Alabama farmers Will and Laurie Moore of Moore Farms and Friends, LLC announce the introduction of their Online Market CSA program to the Birmingham market. Representing over 30 local and regional food producers, their innovative program currently delivers fresh local and regional organically grown foods weekly to Atlanta. In 2010 they were voted “Best CSA” in Atlanta by Creative Loafing Magazine. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a growing method of marketing for farmers in the Southeast United States. Fresh produce, pasture-raised meats and dairy items are available as well as stone-ground grains and other specialty food products. Details on Birmingham Pickup Locations will be available in the first week of June and deliveries are set to begin the week of June 6th.
