Foundation Prepares for Expanded Role as Valley Prepares for a New Hospital

The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Foundation announces appointment of Kim Arellano as Executive Director.

Snoqualmie, WA, May 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kim Arellano has been named executive director of the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate, educate and raise resources to strengthen and support the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital District and the health of our Community. Arellano, long time resident and active community member, will lead the Foundation during a time when the Hospital District plans to expand services and build a new hospital.

“We saw what Kim could do as a Board member, so it was a no brainer to tap her for the position of executive director when it became available,” according to Foundation President Jim Schaffer. “Luckily, she said yes.” Arellano commented, “In these tough economic times, I’ve seen the residents of Snoqualmie Valley coming together as never before. I’m proud, humbled and excited to be part of this new engagement. Those wishing to support healthcare in the Valley, for example, can consider participating in our September 9th Golf for Health tournament.”

Arellano will continue her volunteer role as President of Snoqualmie Valley Women in Business. She is also President and CEO of Arellano Consulting which specializes in individual and organizational leadership development.
