Eugene Residence Inn by Marriott Associate Receives Honor from J. Willard Marriott, Jr.

Springfield, OR, June 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On May 12, Rosie Hernandez joined an elite group of Marriott associates from around the world in Bethesda, MD to accept the Award of Excellence from Chairman and CEO of Marriott International, J.Willard Marriott, Jr. Ms. Hernandez is the second associate from an InnSight HMG managed hotel to receive this highest form of Marriott associate recognition.

Presented each year to a select few, this award honors associates for consistently exceeding expectations, leading by example, and enhancing the lives of their co-workers, customers, and neighbors with their commitment to service excellence. Rosie started with InnSight HMG in 1998 as a room attendant at the Eugene Springfield Courtyard by Marriott and was later promoted to housekeeping supervisor. She transferred to the Eugene Residence Inn by Marriott at its opening in 2001 and was promoted to housekeeping manager in 2003.
