New Atlantic Contracting Oversees Construction of N.C. State Veterinary Medical Center
Local N.C. Contractor Takes Part in Dedication of State-of-the-Art Vet Facility
Raleigh, NC, June 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- John Muter, President and chief operations officer of New Atlantic Contracting, Inc.(http://www.new-atlantic.net), a licensed contractor providing general contracting, construction management and design build services to the institutional, educational, health care and industrial markets in North Carolina, has announced that the Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Veterinary Medical Center at N.C. State University was dedicated May 6. New Atlantic Contracting served as the general contractor and construction manager for the state-of-the-art 110,000-square-foot expansion, valued at $34,599,600. The center, which was completed in April, will receive the first patients in late June.
The Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center, designed by North Carolina-based Small Kane Architects, is located on N.C. State’s Centennial Biomedical Campus and is adjacent to the existing hospital. The new medical center will more than double the current size of NC State’s small animal vet hospital and will house added enhanced medical technologies such as high flow air filtration and isolation rooms, clean rooms, radiology equipment, and patient care rooms.
